We are looking for an experienced welder to join our workshop located in Montréal.

Your mission: shaping metal

• Perform various welding tasks
• Work with different types of metals
• Brush, grind, and polish parts as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Manufacture and assemble metal structures
• Repair transport trucks for vehicle hauling
• General maintenance
• Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor

What you already master - technical skills

• Mastery of processes: SMAW, GMAW (MIG), FCAW
• Skilled in plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting
• Ability to read blueprints and fabricate metal structures
• Experience repairing mining equipment and heavy machinery
• Use of magnetic drills and industrial grinders
• Strict adherence to workplace safety standards

What we’re looking for

• Expertise in welding, fabrication, and material preparation
• Experience with vehicle transport equipment (an asset)
• Basic knowledge of road vehicle mechanics (an asset)
• DEP in welding-assembly
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
• Precision, attention to detail
• Dynamism, rigor, and team spirit
• Autonomy and sense of responsibility
• Respect for health and safety rules
• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication

• Salary: $24.69/hr-$38.36/hr (depending on relevant experience and the collective agreement)
• Day shift: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
• On-site position
• Ability to commute: Must be able to commute reliably before starting work (required)
