Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with various materials. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing process.

Duties

  • Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to fabricate metal components.
  • Utilize welding techniques to join metal parts, ensuring strong and durable connections.
  • Employ machining skills to build components as per specifications.
  • Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and cut materials.
  • Measure and mark materials using basic math skills and calipers for accuracy.
  • Fabricate ductwork and other metal structures according to project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

  • Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) with a focus on quality workmanship.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and ability to operate relevant machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with power tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.
  • Familiarity with structural fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
