Duties
- Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to fabricate metal components.
- Utilize welding techniques to join metal parts, ensuring strong and durable connections.
- Employ machining skills to build components as per specifications.
- Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and cut materials.
- Measure and mark materials using basic math skills and calipers for accuracy.
- Fabricate ductwork and other metal structures according to project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and ability to operate relevant machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with power tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with structural fabrication processes is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
