Why Érablière Turkey Hill?

Érablière Turkey Hill has been a leader in the maple syrup industry since 1976. Our mission is to provide pure, high-quality products while preserving the integrity and purity of maple syrup. Based in Granby, Quebec, we use state-of-the-art technology for bottling and distribution.

What are the main tasks of the job?

  • Work in collaboration with the various supervisors, operators, production employees, mechanics and immediate superior;
  • Between quality tests (5 minutes 2 x per hour), assist production;
  • Check production lines before starting bottling and packaging.
  • Check brix, color, taste, clarity and syrup type (organic/regular) before transferring syrup to bottling tank.
  • With the help of the Line Operator, check that the bottling machine, capper, labeller and other machinery are in line with the product and adjusted according to established production and HACCP/SQF standards.
  • Work in collaboration with the Quality Coordinator;
  • Contribute to compliance with HACCP and SQF regulations;
  • Perform any other tasks required for the smooth running of production as needed.

Requested skills

To succeed in this position, you must have :

  • 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar position in the agri-food sector (an asset)
  • Ability to work on an assembly line and use basic machinery/tools
  • Speed and versatility
  • Dynamism and motivation
  • Good attention to detail and proactivity (identify and communicate problems)
  • Good attendance and ability to work in a team
  • Be able to work physically (continuous standing work and frequent travel)
  • Follow health, safety, food and quality standards
