Production worker – syrup preparation

Production worker – syrup preparation is responsible for assisting the Syrup preparation Team Leader in ensuring that kitchen production standards meet or exceed budgeted parameters and that the food safety culture is followed. He/she makes the various connections and configurations for heating, syrup filtration and production supply, brings the barrels into the pump room and has them checked before pumping them into the tank decided by a manager. After pumping, he/she washes the empty barrels and stores them in the warehouse. He/she assists the Team Leader in preparing filters, rinsing tanks and any other kitchen-related tasks. To minimize production stoppages, he/she will prioritize his/her work.

What are the main tasks of the job?

With the team leader and according to standards, prepare syrup;
Make sure that barrels are washed correctly;
Make sure that the product description sheet for the syrup mix is respected;
Make sure that the temperature is at a minimum of 185°F in the heating tanks before sending the syrup to the holding tanks in the bottling room;
Make sure that instruments are clean and in good condition;
Make sure that all instruments/tanks/etc. have been washed before producing organic syrup. have been washed before producing organic syrup;
Ensure that the kitchen, pump room, processing room, barrels and equipment are kept clean and that no non-conforming items are left on the floor.
