Systems Administrator - Scheduling & Workforce Optimization - Temporary Full-time 2024-7785

Summary of Duties

 

  • ESP Support Users
    • Responsible for providing ESP users with ongoing support to address any ESP system queries and/or scheduling procedures
    • Serves as a resource to users of the system providing information training and problem solving services.
  • ESP information management
    • Supports and maintains the data integrity of the Kronos ESP scheduling and timekeeping system.
    • Configures and runs scheduled and ad hoc informational and analytical reports for users of the system.
  • Works collaboratively with the Central Staffing Office and Inter-professional Practice to design, develop and deliver standardized reporting across organization including internal schedule processing, process compliance report card and key performance indicators.
  • Monitors reporting schedule to ensure timeliness of reporting.
  • Maintenance of scheduling system including correspondence schedule coverage schedule changes timekeeping maintenance and other miscellaneous activities as needed.
  • Performs audits of schedules to ensure hours shifts align with employment status.
  • Addresses timekeeping discrepancies within Kronos ESP.
  • Addresses timekeeping discrepancies within UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly UKG Dimensions).  
  • Maintenance  and updating of master schedules.

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field.
  • Three years’ experience working in healthcare and previous experience scheduling healthcare staff preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of individuals in a positive manner.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of collective agreements an asset.
  • Experience working with Kronos Workforce ESP an asset.
  • Experience with transitioning from one software system to another considered an asset.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of software integration and APIs an asset.
