Project Assistant (SRI) - Centre for Clinical Trials - Casual 2025-14231

Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) is a $100M multidisciplinary research community, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, and servicing a broad spectrum of research programs and platforms. The Centre for Clinical Trial Support (CCTS) is SRI’s coordinating centre in support of investigator-driven clinical research projects and clinical trials. We are seeking 2 Project Assistants (students – on a casual basis) to support a pre-hospital medicine clinical trial.

 

Summary of Duties (not all-encompassing):

 

  • Retrospective chart review for clinical outcomes
  • Data entry into REDCap
  • Data cleaning
  • Support project manager with any data related tasks, including data analysis
  • Support project manager with study drug management and end of study reconciliation
  • Support Project Manager with any other tasks as required

 

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Previous experience working on the PITSTOP trial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be able to communicate easily and successfully, both verbally and in writing
  • Be able to work effectively and independently as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current policies, guidelines (ICH-GCP), standards, and applicable regulations in order to ensure own work is in compliance
  • Able to meet competing deadlines while paying meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) programs, preferably REDCap
  • Skill using various computer systems and software programs including: database management, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications, (MS Office)
