Who we are looking for
The Risk Monitoring Center of Excellence is looking for the right candidate to assist in assisting the team perform a centralized first line defense function. The team evaluates Payment and Settlements which suspend in queue due to insufficient funding or other Risk flags. Risk Monitors identify and escalate transactions to the Business Lines and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to obtain details of covering funds and appropriate approvals for release to market.

What you will be responsible for
As Risk operations A2 you will
- Analyze and review transactions on a case-by-case basis, and resolve or escalate as needed
- Ensure all transactions are actioned by market and currency deadlines
- Ensure a full understanding and adherence to Corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures
- Participate in self-testing and other related audit requirements
- Support team initiatives, by learning and completing job related functions, thus meeting departmental goals and objectives
- Respond promptly to client queries, and ensure a timely resolution
- Perform functions utilizing various system applications including MCH, MTS, IBS, and Hogan
- Meet accuracy and productivity targets as established by management
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines
- Identify, escalate and/or report any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry
