Mission

The Senior Industrial Designer is responsible for developing new products related to the recreational, industrial, and agricultural sectors. This role requires autonomy and leverages the designer’s experience. The designer will supervise and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams during design workshops, then outline key directions using sketches, illustrations, and other visual tools. They must guide, persuade, and lead engineering teams toward aesthetically innovative and appealing products that meet client expectations. The focus will be primarily on advanced-level projects.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent the product’s industrial design vision
  • Generate product design concepts through sketches and presentation illustrations
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and multidisciplinary workshops
  • Research existing products and competitors’ offerings
  • Create inspiration boards and present the proposed design direction
  • Present and justify selected ideas and concepts to engineering, sales teams, and clients
  • Monitor project progress with project managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure a high level of innovation in concept selection
  • Represent industrial design in projects and participate in client calls to assess project progress
  • Travel as needed to present to clients
  • Supervise staff when required
  • Stay alert to new developments in product design that may benefit the company
  • Conduct trend monitoring in design, innovation, competitive products, and rival companies

Profile With the following skills and qualities, you'll thrive in this role:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design
  • 4 to 5 years of experience as an industrial designer
  • Excellent ability to create sketches and illustrations to demonstrate concepts using a WACOM tablet or similar
  • Strong proficiency in Photoshop
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Rhino3D and Blender
  • Familiarity with rendering software like KeyShot
  • Willingness to travel occasionally during evenings and weekends
  • Availability to travel across America, Europe, and other regions for presentations
  • Ability to communicate proposals and design directions to engineering and sales teams with tact and diplomacy
  • Deep knowledge and passion for the recreational products market
