Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to :
- Contribute to the development of manufacturing strategies related to growth and equipment replacement
- Draft specifications and collaborate with the purchasing department for equipment acquisition
- Structure and organize projects for the commissioning of new equipment and building modifications
- Monitor technological innovation to identify and integrate emerging trends
- Ensure equipment compliance with safety and risk requirements, in collaboration with the OHS coordinator
- Supervise a project engineer within your team
With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
- Five years of experience in manufacturing project management, particularly in metal processing equipment, machining, welding, and painting
- Knowledge of automation
- Knowledge of legal requirements and machine safety standards
- Good knowledge of English in order to communicate with our English-speaking suppliers
