Electrical Engineer

We are looking for experienced candidates to participate in the maintenance and optimization of our equipment fleet. Working in our foundry, you will play an important role in Soucy's operations.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Inspect, program, and install various electrical and electronic systems
• Perform various corrective or preventive maintenance tasks related to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Provide support to internal customers (production, quality, OHS, etc.)
• Advise the maintenance planner on corrective and preventive maintenance to be performed
• Ensure the safety of work, subcontractors, colleagues, and the cleanliness of the workplace

• Permanent full-time position
• Shift: day shifts (Monday to Friday)
• Salary: $39.91/hour upon hiring and $44.95/hour after 1 year

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

• College diploma in industrial electronics, automation, and control, or equivalent training
• Good knowledge of manufacturing production systems
• Knowledge of automation, electricity, electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Ability to read (plans), write, and interpret information related to manufacturing processes
• Good problem-solving skills and a high degree of autonomy and team spirit
