Working closely with our customs broker, our maritime, air, and road partners, and the operations team, you will actively contribute to ensuring the fluidity and performance of our supply chain.Beyond day-to-day coordination, you will play a strategic role: cost analysis, process optimization, continuous improvement, participation in negotiations, and development of our logistics partnerships.Here, your expertise will not only be put to good use-it will make a real difference.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
Customs compliance
- Prepare, validate, and ensure compliance of import and export documents (certificates of origin, regulatory documentation, etc.)
- Work closely with the logistics team and our customs broker
- Monitor applicable regulatory requirements
- Participate in improving internal compliance procedure
- Define, document, and implement processes such as domestic and international transportation instructions for our purchases and sales and certain internal procedures
- Coordinate special transports while meeting deadlines and operational requirements
- Track deliveries and manage unforeseen events
- Collaborate with carriers and ensure compliance with agreements
Strategic Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Guide the operations committee in its decision-making by highlighting the impact of transportation and customs activities on our day-to-day operations
- Monitor our suppliers' performance indicators (costs, deadlines, and quality)
- Validate and reconcile transportation and customs invoices
- Participate in calls for tenders and comparative cost analyses
- Contribute to the optimization of logistics processes
- Collaborate with the purchasing team during contract negotiations with our carriers

- 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in import/export and transportation
- University degree (Bachelor's) in logistics, operations management, business administration, international trade, or a related field OR relevant college diploma with more experience
- A good understanding of customs processes, compliance standards, and Incoterms
- Experience coordinating with suppliers• Comfortable with computer tools (Excel, ERP - an asset)
- Experience with a manufacturing ERP system (SAP: an asset)
- Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence, motivational leadership, and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and prioritize them effectively, in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Independence, thoroughness, initiative, and excellent organizational skills
- Fluency in spoken and written French; functional English required (in order to communicate with our English-speaking partners)
