Emerging Business representative

The impact you will have:
As an Emerging Business Sales Representative, you are proving your tenacity with prospecting, building customer relationships with the tactical level of organizations such as the IT Manager. You will be expected to disrupt customers thinking and build consensus for Softchoice solutions to secure deals, and support the organizational strategy of driving towards a services organization. As a member of the team you would be responsible supporting business customers who have less than 100 employees/ less than $500,000 in addressable IT spend.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office 1-2 times per week.


Responsibilities:

  • Diversify and expand existing customer base by qualifying and positioning Softchoice solutions for client purchase requests and projects
  • Follow up and close quotes & transactional renewals
  • Create and manage opportunities in Salesforce
  • Setting clients up on the Softchoice.com portal, drive web adoption and set up customer demos.
  • Attend trainings and learn/keep up with new products and technologies to properly support client requests
  • Drive customer experience (CX) though “legendary customer service”
  • Monitor/delegate incoming requests from a general inbox. Respond to incoming calls to the 1-800 general Softchoice number.
  • Prospect, cold call new contacts

Qualifications:

  • Up to 1-year of previous sales experience in retail or B2C background
  • College or University degree
  • Must be open to flexible work hours & statutory holiday alignment - you may be assigned to service customer in different times zones and country (US/Canada)
