Under the authority of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Cleks supports the purchasing departement by processing procurement requests and performing the necessary follow-ups with suppliers.

What to Expect:
  • Carry out the purchasing of goods and services for Sika Canada’s plants.
  • Perform procurement activities for Sika Canada’s plants.
  • Follow up on purchase orders and conduct daily reminders.
  • Assist the Buyer with the qualification of raw material and packaging suppliers.
  • Perform any other related tasks in accordance with Sika Canada Inc.’s quality assurance and environmental management procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Education: AEC/DEC and coursework in procurement (an asset)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and willingness to deepen skills related to the tasks
Role Requirements:
  • Bilingual (French and English) to facilitate communication with the team outside Quebec (60% of the time) and with international colleagues
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
