The Logistics Coordinator manages the movement of products between distribution centers, external warehouses, and customers. He/she uses SAP to plan replenishment, create transfers, and ensure the accuracy of inventories and transactions.

Your contributions within the team:

Transportation and Goods Management

  • Perform daily and weekly replenishment analyses between distribution centers.
  • Optimize inventories, transportation costs, and order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate cross-dock activities and ensure the creation/closure of shipments in SAP.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, plants, and warehouses to ensure prompt product delivery.
  • Ensure that all delivery transactions are completed in SAP.
  • Select carriers, plan routes, and optimize transportation costs and lead times.

Logistics Support

  • Provide spot rates to Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, transportation, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (on-time shipments, costs, carrier utilization).
  • Participate in carrier audits and tenders to optimize costs.
  • Contribute to S&OP meetings regarding inventory and service issues.
  • Provide support to the shipping department during replacements or peak periods.

Qualifications

  • DEC or equivalent diploma + 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, inventory, or operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP (strong asset).
  • Strong computer skills (Excel essential).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce: asset.
  • Bilingual French/English required in Quebec (oral and written).
