Inside sales representative

Position based in Quebec | Flexible hybrid model (2 remote workdays/week)

At SIGA, we develop advanced digital solutions for agriculture, including SigaFinance, Amicompta, SigaBill, Geofolia, and Sencrop connected weather stations.
Our mission: to support producers and accounting professionals in their digital transition toward smarter, more sustainable, and more profitable farm management.

• Act as a digital advisor for producers, market gardeners, and agricultural accounting organizations (GCA, SCF, private firms).

• Prospect new clients, assess their needs, and recommend the right tools.

• Deliver tailored remote demos (farm accounting, production tracking, invoicing, weather monitoring, etc.).

• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chats with professionalism.

• Convert opportunities into sales and build a strong, loyal customer portfolio.

• Understand the management challenges (financial, operational, or agricultural) faced by our clients.

• Train users to ensure successful and simplified adoption of our digital tools.

• Highlight the benefits of automation, data accessibility, and AI-powered features.

• Simplify and demystify technical concepts for users of all experience levels.

• Work closely with our customer service, marketing, and product teams.

• Share field feedback to help improve our offerings and guide strategic decisions.

• Stay current on AgTech trends, AI developments, and digital transformation in agriculture.

• You come from the agricultural world (market gardening, horticulture, field crops, farm accounting, etc.) or are strongly connected to it.

• You enjoy listening, understanding, and helping clients solve real-world challenges.

• You are comfortable with computers, even if you learned “on the job.”

• You are motivated by business development and remote consultative sales.

• You know how to explain and simplify tools or technical concepts.

• You are organized, self-sufficient, and a great team player.

• You’re looking for a stable career with purpose and impact.

• Education in agriculture, horticulture, agroeconomics, or accounting.

• Experience with farm management software (training provided if needed).

• Background in customer service or consultative sales.

• Functional or bilingual English skills.

• Full-time, permanent position.

• A stable job with no travel, in a hybrid work model (remote work after 3 months).
