Job Description:
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Consultant, Workday Solutions, you will serve as a techno-functional Workday expert supporting the design, delivery, testing, and optimization of the Workday platform. You will collaborate with HR, Technology, and vendor partners to deliver system enhancements, support new global expansion requirements, and ensure seamless BAU operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design, Build & Testing
• Partner with HR COEs, business stakeholders, SMEs, and vendor consultants to analyze needs and translate them into Workday solutions
• Document and validate business requirements, functional design, and impact assessments
• Configure Workday changes independently or with vendor support
• Develop and execute test plans; ensure thorough regression, UAT, and validation
• Support deployment, hypercare, and stabilizations of new features
2. Consultation & Advisory Support
• Provide Workday subject‑matter expertise across HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Time & Absence, Security, or Integrations
• Evaluate solution options and advise on downstream impacts and best practices
• Guide HR partners through process optimization and system adoption
3. Relationship Management
• Build strong partnerships across HR, Technology, QA, and external vendors
• Communicate clearly with non‑technical audiences and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to a collaborative project environment and ensure milestone execution
Must Have Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience with Workday configuration, implementation, or solutioning
- Strong experience configuring Workday (minimum 1-2 major domains)
- High‑priority domain experience:
- Time Tracking & Absence
- Integrations (exposure sufficient; not looking for a senior integrations consultant)
- Security
- HCM
- Core & Advanced Compensation
- Recruiting
- Ability to perform both technical configuration and functional analysis (approx. 50/50 split)
- Experience gathering requirements and supporting cross-domain project work
Nice to Have:
- Workday Reporting
- Experience in large multi-domain Workday expansion projects

1. Virtual interview with Hiring Manager
2. Second virtual interview with another senior leader in the Workday COE
