Position Title: Assistant Product Manager

Line of business: Wealth Management, Global Asset Management

Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 1-2x per week in office, as well as additional days ad hoc)

Working hours: 9-5 EST

Role Mandate: This group is the Operations team of GAM Wealth Management. The team provides end-to-end support for mutual funds, ETFs, segregated funds, high net worth wealth products, and savings products for internal and external stakeholders. They deliver operational processes and provide after-sales support to the personal wealth and asset management businesses and stakeholders. Areas of operational expertise include Broker/Dealer and Private Bank support, Asset Management, Investment Funds, and Life Insurance.

Team Structure: The team will be about 50/50 collaborative vs independent work. There are 7 people on the team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Being the face of product management
• Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicates with internal business partners and external customers in response to standard and non-standard inquiries.
• Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues
• Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendation.
• Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
• Supports change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
