Location: Pickering - HYBRID - 3 days onsite

Duration: 12 month contract

35 hours / week

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure and operations projects (network, telecom, hybrid cloud, DR, high availability) across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, schedule, and governance.
• Define project goals, scope, resources, costs, and execution plans; tailor delivery approaches balancing budget, time, and risk.
• Coordinate execution with cross-functional teams, vendors, application owners, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality, performance, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Apply best-practice project management, including planning, reporting, change management, and lifecycle management.
• Proactively identify, analyze, mitigate, and escalate project risks, issues, and bottlenecks.
• Manage project finances, resource allocation, vendor contracts, and change requests (including CAB processes).
• Establish clear roles, expectations, communication plans, and regular stakeholder reporting.
• Monitor progress, milestones, budgets, and data accuracy across project tools and repositories.
• Coach, mentor, and lead project teams; recommend and implement corrective actions when variances occur.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 8 (eight) years of related IT projects leading IT Infrastructure projects and technology related environments.
• Experience in managing Azure Cloud, Data Center, Network and Infrastructure Lifecycle projects
• Experience implementing both IT Infrastructure, Applications and Software systems
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2

Nice to have:

• Knowledge on various vendor technologies by Microsoft, Cisco, Lenovo, Extreme networks, HPE would be an asset
