Our client, Canada’s largest and most recognized retailer, is seeking a Technical Lead - iOS to lead the mobile development of their next-generation e-Commerce Pharmacy platform. This individual will play a critical role in driving the technical vision, architecture, and implementation of key features such as health dashboards, loyalty integration, and checkout workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of iOS solutions for the Pharmacy e-Commerce app using Swift and Combine.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and architectural decisions.
  • Own the mobile development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive API integration and backend collaboration, using Swagger for documentation and seamless service consumption.
  • Guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Represent the iOS team in planning sessions, providing technical input and delivery estimates.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in iOS development teams, with strong expertise in Swift and Combine.
  • Experience integrating APIs with Swagger and working with microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery tools like Jira and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and experience mentoring or leading developers.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with RxSwift
  • Background in e-Commerce or Pharmacy/Healthcare industries
