Description
Our valued client is looking for a Sr. Treasury Data Analyst/ Advisor to support the transition from the current on-premise Treasury Management System to a third-party SaaS TMS.
This is a remote position with on-site work required in Ottawa 6x per year
Tasks include:
- Provide deep Treasury domain expertise with a strong focus on data, reporting, integrations, and downstream consumption through the organization's Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
- Work closely with Treasury and data teams to ensure Treasury data requirements are clearly defined, mapped, tested, and successfully transitioned to the future state reporting and analytics environment
- Support the transition from the organization's current Treasury Management System (TMS) to a third-party SaaS TMS
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Treasury processes, financial instruments, and reporting requirements to guide the TMS project team through design, data, and reporting decisions.
- Act as a subject matter advisor to ensure Treasury business requirements are accurately reflected in system design and data outputs
- Review Treasury Management System (TMS) reports currently produced outside the FIS Integrity system.
- Identify and document data components used in external Treasury reports.
- Map report data elements to current TMS data fields and structures
- Create and maintain comprehensive data mapping documentation to support reporting continuity and future state analytics
- Assess TMS data requirements for existing Risk, Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and other Treasury related applications.
- Based on the FIS Integrity data model, design and document logical data extracts for ingestion into the organization's Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
- Produce clear, auditable data mapping and transformation documentation for use by the EDP development team
- Collaborate with the organization's data teams to design, develop, implement, and test TMS data solutions
- Develop test cases for Treasury reports produced outside the FIS Integrity system.
- Support integration testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities across TMS, EDP, and downstream reporting tools
- Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues during transition and cutover phases
- Support the transition of custom Treasury reports to the future state reporting environment using Power BI and TM1 applications, with data sourced from the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Monitor and support delivery activities related to report redevelopment, data integration, testing, and user acceptance.
- Contribute to user training and knowledge transfer related to new Treasury reporting solutions
Must have:
- Eligible for reliability clearance
- Prior experience implementing a Treasury Management System
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Treasury Groups: support, operations, or consulting/advisory
Nice to have:
- Previously delivered a medium to large size Treasury Management System Implementation Project including their individual contributions to the project
- Experience in Data Analysis, Mapping, and System to System integration
- Experience with the FIS Integrity, Payment Hub, and ECHOS products
- Experience support reporting requirements, design, and development activities
- Experience with data model, design and documentation of logical data extracts for ingestion into an Enterprise Data Platform / Data Lake
