Our client is looking for a Sr. SharePoint Developer to Assist with migrating and updating a SharePoint web portal.

*Part-time hours and fully remote

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• PowerShell scripting
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Understanding of SharePoint security models and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the migration of existing SharePoint environments (e.g., on-premises to SharePoint Online).
• Analyze current SharePoint architecture and recommend modernization strategies.
• Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, pages, workflows, and web parts.
• Update and optimize the existing SharePoint web portal for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Migrate content, libraries, lists, metadata, and permissions while maintaining data integrity.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Develop and maintain Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Power Apps) where needed.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and provide post-migration support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and user guidance materials.
