Sr. Project Manager to support ServiceNow implementation projects from initiation through deployment for our large Telco Client - 19360

Target Working Hours per Day: 7.5

Anticipated Duration of Contract: 6 Months with possible extension


Key Responsibilities:

Lead ServiceNow implementation projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget.

Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, developers, and external vendors, to define project scope and objectives.

Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication and governance.

Drive Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies as appropriate for each engagement.

Monitor and report on project progress, key milestones, risks, and issues to executive leadership.

Manage change control and scope adjustments with an eye on business value and impact.

Ensure alignment with ITIL and ServiceNow best practices for implementation, configuration, and integration.

Support organizational change management and end-user adoption strategies.


Must-Have Skills:

1. 5+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years focused on ServiceNow implementations (e.g., ITSM, CSM, SPM or custom apps).

  • Strong ServiceNow platform knowledge and experience - understands key modules, workflows, and implementation best practices

2. Proven cross-functional leadership - can align IT, business, and governance teams across departments

3. Agile and ITIL delivery experience - skilled in iterative project management and service management frameworks


Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Background in organizational change management to help navigate the changes being implemented with the business

2. Experience with Managed IT / Managed Service Providers would be extremely beneficial

3. Project Management certification


Project Details / Team Environment / Additional Comments:

This resource will support the Fully Managed ITSM Transformation program whereas we are executing upon a roadmap to deploy additional modules and capabilities to the Fully Managed ServiceNow instance.

The project team lacks a dedicated project manager to take ownership of the delivery of the program, including coordinate meetings, chasing stakeholders / approvals, providing status updates to leadership, liaison with the business, etc.
