Sr. Project Manager to support multiple initiatives within our Insurance Client's TPMO - Corporate Properties
Duration: 10 Months
Location: Toronto (3x/week Hybrid)
We are seeking a strong Senior Project Manager to join the Technology PMO supporting the Corporate Properties portfolio. This role will partner closely with stakeholders and internal enterprise teams to deliver multiple concurrent initiatives. This position requires a confident, structured project leader who can operate in ambiguous environments, define scope where it is unclear, and manage demanding stakeholders while adhering to enterprise PM governance standards.
Scope of Role- Manage 2-3 concurrent projects, typically under $1M in budget.
- Projects will primarily support Corporate Properties initiatives and may span:
- Real estate leasing initiatives
- Badge/access management systems
- Networking and infrastructure coordination within office environments
- Vendor-led implementations
- Regulatory and security-related initiatives (including Bill 64 impacts)
- Role may rotate across other Corporate Properties initiatives as portfolio needs evolve.
- Define, refine, and “scrape out” project scope in ambiguous or loosely defined environments.
- Develop and maintain:
- Project charters
- Detailed project plans and schedules
- RAID logs
- Financial forecasts and reporting
- Ensure alignment with enterprise PMO governance standards.
- Manage project budgets (
- Forecast, track, and report on project financials.
- Ensure cost control and financial transparency.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, including Corporate Properties leadership.
- Navigate complex and sometimes challenging stakeholder environments.
- Provide clear, structured, and influential communication.
- Drive alignment across business, technology, and vendor teams.
- Oversee third-party vendor engagement and delivery.
- Support security and regulatory-related initiatives (including Quebec Bill 64-related controls where applicable).
- Ensure alignment with enterprise risk and compliance standards.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within a structured enterprise environment.
- Financial services industry experience (required).
- Demonstrated experience managing:
- Software implementations
- Multiple concurrent projects
- Budgets under $1M
- Senior and demanding stakeholders
- Experience with SAP cloud and on premise or business/transformation initiatives
- Strong command of:
- Financial tracking and forecasting
- PM governance frameworks
- Risk and issue management
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Confident communicator with strong executive presence.
