Sr. Migration Consultant with experience migrating Slack to MS Teams for our Payment Solutions client's acquisition integration effort.

Duration: 3 Months (Extensions likely)

Location: Remote (EST)

Project: Need a Slack Subject Matter Expert that can validate and create technical requirements documentation for the migration of Slack to MS Teams. The client operates on MS Teams currently, and has just acquired another company that currently operates on Slack, therefore integration and migration of all channels (Email, Drives, Workflows, Communications) needed within next 6 months.

The role encompasses several key responsibilities:

• Workflows and Configurations: We require an individual to analyze current workflows and configurations flowing into Slack and work with workflows owners to replicated and enhanced in Teams.
• Data Migration: The individual will develop and implement strategies to migrate channels and chat histories, files, and user data to Teams.
• Custom App Integrations: The individual will collaborate with our MS Teams Administrator to incorporate custom app integrations into Teams, potentially involving third-party vendors or developing custom solutions.
• User Adoption: The individual will work alongside our adoption specialist to prepare training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing support for users transitioning to Teams.
• Technical Documentation: The individual will document the entire migration process, creating detailed guides and best practices for future reference.

Must Haves:

• Proven subject matter expertise in Slack, including Workflows and Configuration.
• Previous experience with Slack to MS Teams Migration projects
• Ability to create technical documentation for Data Migrations.
• Experience with Power Automate
• Understanding of API Integrations.
