Our retail client is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance - Store Support Center & Technology (10+ years) to lead FP&A transformation using AI, automation, and advanced analytics

Join a high-impact finance organization driving modernization and digital transformation across a large-scale retail environment. This role leads initiatives integrating AI, automation, and data analytics into FP&A workflows to enhance forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision support. The position offers end-to-end ownership across financial planning, modeling, and performance management, while collaborating closely with Technology and Data teams to redefine the finance operating model.

Must Haves

• 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or finance transformation with demonstrable experience in automation and process improvement
• Strong SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities within large-scale organizations
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency supporting scenario analysis and performance management
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, OneStream, or similar ERP/planning systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field

Nice to Have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA designation
• Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics
• Exposure to technology or IT finance support functions
• Familiarity with capital project accounting and software capitalization

Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and SG&A performance for Home Office and Technology departments
• Lead automation initiatives applying AI and analytics to finance processes and reporting workflows
• Develop and present financial models, ROI scenarios, and business recommendations to senior leadership
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to implement dashboarding and self-service finance reporting solutions
• Support month-end close, accruals, and compliance with financial governance and capitalization policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize data quality, increase forecasting accuracy, and reduce manual reporting
• Mentor team members on automation opportunities, analytics adoption, and AI-enabled finance capabilities
