Duration: 1 year
Extension possible: Possibility - business needs and performance
Conversion Possible: Possibility - business needs and performance
Location: Currently 2 days on site, 4 days in office eventually (coming into office as needed is the expectation) Toronto, Ontario
Scope of Project: Safe Agile - working on features, supporting product groups (Asset Management)
Team Size/Culture: 1 RTE per product group (20 people), very collaborative work environment, team player mentality, very fast paced with quick turn arounds, high complexity with partners and stakeholders are involved
CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:
Degree/Certifications Required: Post secondary is ideal, RTE Safe Agilist certificate, Scrum Master certification, PMP (asset)
Years of Overall Experience: 5-7 years of experience (flexible)
Preferred Candidate Background: Asset Management and Wealth is highly preferred, banking or financial institution experience
How will performance be measured: KPI’s/SLA’s. How they communication and influence, problem solve, build their team, get the team working. What - how many delivery commitments they meet, quality of how they meet those etc.

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates release processes, coordination, and execution. Escalates impediments, manages risk, helps ensure value delivery, and helps drive relentless improvement. Participates in transformation, coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets required to achieve agility.
Works closely with Solution Train Engineers in coordinating the various releases in a Journey or Platform, as well as broader orchestration of work within the NEW operating model.
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) 5-7 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer
2.) Post secondary education (university is preferred)
3.) Proficient in Agile management tools - Confluence, Sharepoint and Jira
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) RTE Safe Agilist certificate, Scrum Master certification (preferred), PMP (asset)
2.) Prior Asset Management and Wealth experience is highly preferred
