Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Sr. iOS Developer (Swift/UIKit) to build greenfield e-commerce platforms across Grocery, Pharma, and Apparel business domains.
They are expanding our e-commerce capabilities across multiple retail banners and investing in mobile-first experiences - both for customers and in-store teams. This iOS role focuses on extending our post-purchase experience.
Duration: Until End of December 2025, to start
Location: Toronto (Bathurst and Lakeshore) - 1 day/week onsite mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain iOS applications with a focus on customer-facing features
- Contribute to the design and development of new app modules (post-purchase, delivery, returns)
- Implement smooth and consistent UI using UIKit and Swift
- Ensure high performance, stability, and accessibility across devices and app states
- Participate in architecture discussions and feature planning for upcoming mobile initiatives
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in iOS development
- Strong experience with Swift and UIKit
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
