Job Description: Position Title: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: every Tuesday and 2nd Friday

Office Location: 81 Bay 14th Floor

Best vs average candidate: infrastructure components - networking, security, experience with Azure will be an asset - Azure active directory, SQL databases, vulnerability management experience, experience with Dynatrace.

Responsibilities:

Who You Are

• Analyze infrastructure requirements for applications, deployments, and availability.

• Design and document infrastructure architectures using diagrams. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, requirements, and quality assurance.

• Implementation and support of technologies in serverless print technologies and troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure problems.

• Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability.

• Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in enterprise infrastructure components : security, network, firewalls, Windows server OS, Azure Active Directory, DigiCert, SQL Database, Operating Systems, Network, 802.1x, Microsoft Azure, hardware technology

• Verify security protocols and implement measures to prevent security breaches.

• Provide in-depth subject matter expertise to perform broad impact analysis, present alternative solutions, and make recommendations for complex initiatives and projects

• Automate tasks such as deployments, configuration management, and system updates. Develop and implement automation strategies using tools like PowerShell and other scripting languages.

• Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to manage infrastructure as code.

• Monitoring, hardening and policing infrastructure performance and identify potential issues, knowledge of Dynatrace is essential .

• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and integrations.

• Vendor management to meet and manage service expectations, aligned to best practices

1. Experience with Infrastructure management - 10 years

2. Windows Server Management - 10 years

3. SQL and Sysadmin experience - 5 years

4. Network Security Components - 802.1x and certificate management - 5 years

5. Experience with Dynatrace - 2+ years

6. Vulnerability management experience - 5 years
