Sr. Full Stack Software Developer (.NET Core, C#, ReactJS, Azure/AWS) with expertise in legacy application modernization, MS Access/on-prem migration, PowerShell scripting, SQL/DB2 - 8630

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Winnipeg, London or Toronto

Hybrid: Yes, 3x/week at preferred office

Overview:

• Help Lead a dynamic team to design, develop, integrate, test, transition to production, and maintain internal software applications.
• Mentor and guide existing developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate with various functional teams, analysts, and architects to define and implement technical solutions.
• Contribute to problem elimination through permanent fixes, including identifying solutions, scoping the work, and executing changes.
• Provide production support, application monitoring, and tuning for applications.
• Deliver meaningful real-time results by troubleshooting application problems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices in software development.

Must Haves:

• Must be Eligible or hold a valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance (5+ years in Canada)
• 7+ years experience with the following stack: .Net Core, C#, Python, React, VBA, PowerShell/Scripting languages
• Proven track record of leading successful software development projects. MOVEit, Powershell, .NET Core, ReactJS
• Experience migrating legacy applications such as MS Access & on-premises applications to web and cloud solutions.
• Experience in Azure and/or AWS Cloud Development - Building solutions following sound architecture standards.
• Deep knowledge of relational and hierarchical databases (MS SQL, DB2, EntityFramework).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system and/or mainframe environment.
• Experience with software development tools, such as:
• Software Version Control - SVN, GitLab.
• Integrated Development Environments (IDE) - MS Visual Studio, VS Code,
• Collaboration tools - Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams.
