Sr. Full Stack Developer - 57031

Location: Hybrid, Toronto ON - 2 days on site, moving to 4 days February 17th

Scope of Project: Digital sales application project

Team Size/Culture: 8-12 people in a pod, very collaborative work environment

Preferred Candidate Background: banking or financial experience are all assets, prior digital application experience is an asset (customer facing)

Selling Points of Position (CVP): Opportunity to stay long-term and grow within the bank, lots of projects that need support, gaining banking experience with a very well-known bank, opportunity to work on projects that challenge them and have high visibility and impact

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The department is the digital shopping and buying and the candidate will be working on major initiatives for the digital sales application.

MUST-HAVE Skills:

1.) 7+ years of Experience with Java and Springboot in the backend

2.) 3+ years of current or recent experience with Kafka

SOFT SKILLS:

1.) Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

2.) Team Lead experience (asset)

NICE-TO-HAVE

1.) Experience in creating apps for Azure public cloud

2.) Angular front-end development experience
