Sr. Business Systems Analyst - IAM & Salesforce, supporting Customer Identity, Access, and Digital Platform initiatives for an insurance client - 8655

Duration: 15 Months

Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 3x/week)

Responsibilities:

· Conduct and manage investigations based on business requirements, including access issues, identity anomalies, and authentication failures.

· Work with and analyze PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in a secure, compliant manner aligned with privacy, regulatory, and enterprise data‑handling standards.

· Collaborate with business partners, product owners, developers, and QA to validate investigation findings and implement resolutions.

· Complete business and systems analysis based on product owner requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with program goals.

· Translate requirements into well‑defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for developers and QA teams to execute.

· Maintain program documentation, including process flows, investigation records, requirements, and operational artifacts.

· Bridge the business requirements with system design through all phases of opportunity ideation or problem resolution and systems enhancement

  • Working with the portfolio team and business partners, triage, and formalized discovery processes to define the problem/opportunity and expected business benefits for each target stakeholder group
  • Working with the team, solution architect and business partners, gather and define enough high level requirements to develop a high level system impact assessment, scoped solution, and business case
  • Provide portfolio level support to Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts during the detailed, design and build delivery phases
  • Help facilitate the analysis between squads if business scope, requirements and/or the solution evolves during the delivery lifecycle
  • Help coordinate multi-squad development and delivery of training & support materials for affected stakeholders

Must Haves:

· Accreditation in Business Analysis and/or Degree in Comp Sci.

· 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a Technology delivery environment

· Reliability Security Clearance - Active or Eligible (5+ years in Canada)

· Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Customer Identity / Security investigations/ Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) platforms

· Experience working in a Scrum delivery environment including supporting backlog planning, acceptance criteria elicitation, participating in Sprint ceremonies, Agile estimation etc.

· Experience with solutioning in the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Communities, etc.)
