Our client is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to Lead the Business Analysis activities, working with Product and UX partners for technically complex solutions in the Banking sector.

Overview:

Implement enhancements for the newly implemented teller management system (EBX)

Must Have's:

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working on a newly implemented system and a focus on enhancements
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Experience documenting complex technical APIs, system integrations, and data flows

Nice to Have's:

• Banking/ Financial experience
• Teller Management experience, specifically EBX

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, including bank tellers and branch staff, and business leads through interviews, workshops, and surveys
• Analyze business requirements to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the bank teller management system
• Conduct gap analysis to assess the differences between the current system functionality and the desired state, highlighting areas for enhancement
• Work closely with technical teams (product managers, User Experience, architect, developers, testers) to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of system enhancements
• Develop use cases and user stories to capture the functional requirements of system enhancements, ensuring all user needs are met
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Facilitate backlog grooming and refinement sessions to ensure user stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical requirements for system implementation
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are accounted for and tracked throughout the project lifecycle
• Guide and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the system meets the business requirements and user expectations
