Sr. BSA with experience solutioning within Salesforce Ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Communities) to support our insurance client with system design initiatives - 5319

Duration: 8 Months (Extension likely)

Location: Hybrid (3x/week in Toronto)

Overview:

• The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Senior BSA) will bridge business requirements with systems design through all phases of opportunity ideation or problem resolution and systems enhancement.
• Defining and designing the business functionality of the system,
• Ensuring that the system meets the defined business requirements.
• Understanding and defining a strategic vision for key systems based online of business, their needs, known risks and dependencies in partnership with solutions architects.
• Working with the portfolio team and business partners, triage, and formalized discovery processes to define the problem/opportunity and expected business benefits for each target stakeholder group
• Working with the team, solution architect and business partners, gather and define enough high-level requirements to develop a high level system impact assessment, scoped solution, and business case
• Lead and orchestrate the overall analysis, scoping, estimating, and planning for large or complex initiatives
• Lead the elicitation and validation of business requirements affecting multiple products using various methods, techniques, and tools
• Define detailed business requirements using agile requirement gathering methodologies, functional and non-functional specifications for each work package to be assigned to dev/ops squads for detailed design, build and execution.
• Provide portfolio level support to Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts during the detailed, design and build delivery phases
• Help facilitate the analysis between squads if business scope, requirements and/or the solution evolves during the delivery lifecycle
• Work with other BSAs and quality assurance team members to ensure adequate testing and validate that the system meets business needs/expectations
• Lead and facilitate meetings, walkthroughs, workshops, and reviews of deliverables
• Contribute to training strategies and business implementation planning
• Help coordinate multi-squad development and delivery of training & support materials for affected stakeholders

Must Haves:

• 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a Technology delivery environment
• Experience working in a Scrum delivery environment including supporting backlog planning, acceptance criteria elicitation, participating in Sprint ceremonies, Agile estimation etc.
• Experience with solutioning in the Salesforce ecosystem. (Sales Cloud, Communities, etc.)
• Experience within the Financial Services industry (Preferred)
