Our valued public sector client is currently seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to develop, configure and implement APIs to allow secure exchange of data for various systems for their large-scale GoC project.

Must Have:

• Extensive experience creating, configuring and implementing APIs
• Minimum 10 years experience within the past 15 years working as an Application/Software Developer
• Minimum 2+ years experience with DevOps - creating and configuring pipelines (stages, policies, CI/CD)
• Experience with the following:
• MS API management (APIM)
• Valid Reliability Clearance

Tasks Include, but Are Not Limited to:

• Create Cloud API gateways
• Design and development of Microservice architecture for Web Services
• API enhancements, support and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis.
• Deploying new builds of the software - continuous build, integration & deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHUB, Nexus/Maven, Jira)
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Feature planning, story point estimation based on User Stories
• Knowledge of Agile and the full software development lifecycle, including deployment and operation.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and system requirements that meet business requirements.
• Participate in the gathering and documenting of requirements from non-technical business users.
• Develop and document solution design
• Design and implement complex data models
• Develop human based workflow processes
• Work in JIRA and Azure DevOps for project and operations to manage implementations into production
