Our client is seeking a Sr SharePoint & Power Platform Technical Specialist to design, implement and support M365 solutions


Initial contract goes till end of March 2026. 2 days/week on-site minimum including Thursdays. 35 hours/week.


Must Have:

  • 5+ years SharePoint Online
  • Expertise in Power Platform development; Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), PowerBI
  • Overall M365 administration including MS Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD
  • Experience with data migration, governance, and lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, JSON) and REST APIs for automation and integration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, MS-600, SC-300) are considered .
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Experience working in a public sector environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and promoting digital literacy across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • FOCUS: 50% Support the ongoing SharePoint project (SPO Site development, Training, Implement additional site features upon user request (automations, webparts etc..) 50% support the M365 request queue addressing various M365 support requests (Power Platform development (PowerApps, Power Automate), Report building (PBI).
  • Lead the design and deployment of SharePoint Online sites, Teams channels, and Power Platform solutions across departments.
  • Develop and maintain scalable Power Automate flows and Power Apps to streamline business processes.
  • Collaborate with departments to consolidate legacy systems (e.g., Xtender) into Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Design and implement information architecture, metadata strategies, and permission models for SharePoint and Teams.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentorship to IT staff and service desk teams.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and site owners, including SharePoint and Power Platform workshops.
  • Develop usage, adoption, and compliance related reports using Power BI dashboards and Microsoft 365 analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to Langara’s data governance, privacy, and security policies.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and contribute to strategic planning for digital services.
