Our valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior Secret Cleared IT Security Design Specialist to lead security architecture, risk assessments, and certification processes during the migration of legacy CRM Dynamics systems to Dynamics 365 in Azure Cloud.


In this role, you need to deliver security assessments, design artifacts, and documentation to ensure a complex CRM Dynamics system (from 2016 on-premises to Dynamics 365 Azure Cloud SaaS) receives Authorization to Operate (ATO) in compliance with federal IT security policies.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document IT security architecture for infrastructure and Microsoft Power Platform / CRM Dynamics 9 (On-Prem).
  • Support Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) process for Authorization to Operate (ATO) of CRM Dynamics solutions.
  • Conduct full security documentation lifecycle including Threat Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments, Risk Assessments, Statements of Sensitivity.
  • Apply federal security frameworks, identify technical and procedural risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Map functional security requirements through the design lifecycle, verify technical safeguards, and conduct Security Testing & Evaluation (ST&E).
  • Prepare certification plans, validate implementation, assess residual risk, and support accreditation review.
  • Provide training and briefings to project teams and stakeholders related to security posture and compliance.


Must Haves

  • 10+ years as an IT Security Design Specialist or similar in the last 15 years.
  • 3+ years recent experience with:
  • CRM Dynamics 2016 (On-Prem)
  • CRM Dynamics 365, Azure Cloud SaaS, and Power Platform
  • Valid Secret Security Clearance
  • University degree or diploma in IT/engineering (Canadian equivalency if applicable)
  • Strong understanding of SA&A and ATO processes in federal environments


Nice to Haves

  • Bilingual French/English strongly preferred
  • Experience with system certification & accreditation in Canadian government or other regulated sectors
