Sr Project Leader to support the upgrade the Access Control System (ACS) for the integrated security systems for a large federal department

Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Project Leader to support the upgrade the Access Control System (ACS) for the integrated security systems for a large federal department.

The objective of the Work for the Integrated Security System (NISS) project is to provide a standardized, remotely accessible, state of the art, secure solution for use Canada-wide.

Must Have:

• Experience leading an implementation of enterprise physical security systems
• Must have valid PMP
• Must have a vale CPP or PSP from ASIS international
• Valid enhanced reliability Clearance

Tasks Include, but are not Limited to:

• Identify, research, develop and suggest implementation plans and migration programs and activities related to security system products, policies, and procedures that will serve to strengthen the department’s operations;
• Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of long-term security system strategic areas as well as the daily system implementation operations of the department;
• Develop system-specific project management deliverables such as test plans, migration plans, project schedules, floor plans, statements of work, technical specifications, device and equipment locations and schedules;
• Develop wiring diagrams, installation models and support site implementations;
• Support the updates of detailed implementation plans;
• Provide project documentation support in the form of CAD drawings, wiring schematics, typical device drawings and specifications;
• Support the development of equipment support, maintenance and lifecycle programs addressing technical and operational issues; and,
• Provide technical briefings and support in requirements definition, procurement and implementation planning phases of the project.
