Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to manage and deliver a variety of infrastructure-focused IT initiatives including network, server, cloud, cyber security, and physical security projects (Hybrid, Edmonton AB)[003-2025].

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple small to large infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery. This role will involve developing project charters, project plans, business cases, financial tracking, stakeholder communication, reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully within established methodologies and governance standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable stepping into projects mid-stream, managing competing priorities, and driving projects to completion in a complex enterprise environment.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure-related projects including network, server, cloud, cyber security, or physical security initiatives
• Successful direct management of IT projects ranging from $250,000 to $5,000,000
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities
• Strong experience with project financial management, reporting, and controls
• Experience developing project charters, project plans, project governance processes, change controls, business cases, and related project documentation
• Experience picking up projects mid-stream and successfully driving them through completion

Nice-to-Haves:

• PMI / PMP Certification
• Experience contributing to process, governance, or methodology improvements
• Experience working across a broad range of infrastructure technologies and operational environments

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing multiple small to large IT infrastructure projects
• Develop project charters, detailed project plans, business cases, and supporting project documentation
• Monitor, control, and report on project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall delivery
• Manage infrastructure initiatives related to network equipment, server equipment, cloud upgrades/evergreens, cyber security, and physical security systems
• Drive projects through all phases of delivery while adhering to organizational project methodologies
• Manage project financials and ensure effective change control and scope management
• Coordinate with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide clear and concise communication and reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and methodologies
