Senior Tricentis SME / Test Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of a scalable, enterprise-wide testing framework.

We are seeking a Tricentis SME / Test Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of a scalable, enterprise-wide testing framework. This role will be responsible for defining the overall Tricentis strategy, designing the technical architecture, and ensuring alignment across environments, systems, and security models.

This is a high-impact architectural role, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise within the Tricentis ecosystem.

Work Mode - Remote

For candidates in Toronto it will be hybrid mode

Duration - 3 months plus extension

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise Tricentis testing strategy and roadmap
• Design the end-to-end test automation architecture using Tricentis tools (Tosca, qTest, LiveCompare)
• Establish the testing tool architecture and environment landscape (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Design connectivity and integrations between Tricentis tools and enterprise systems (SAP and non-SAP)
• Define and implement security models, including roles, access control, and governance
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the testing framework
• Integrate Tricentis tools with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Provide architectural guidance to QA, Dev, and infrastructure teams
• Lead tool implementation, configuration, and optimization efforts
• Drive best practices, standards, and governance across testing processes
• Mentor team members and provide knowledge transfer

Must Haves

• 10+ years in QA/Test Automation with strong architecture experience
• Proven experience as a Test Automation Architect or Tricentis SME
• Deep expertise in Tricentis Tosca (mandatory) and broader suite (qTest, LiveCompare)
• Experience designing enterprise-scale test automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes (S/4HANA preferred) and integration testing
• Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Solid understanding of environment strategy, test data management, and release cycles
• Experience defining security and access models for testing tools
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
