Senior Training Advisor to create learning experiences and support the development of International Wealth Management Teams with of our major banking clients- 38994
Location Address: Toronto- onsite 4x/week (could change to 100% onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 year (Possibility of extension and conversion)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

- Business group: IWM Advisor & Client Solutions
- The Training Advisor will play a critical role in creating digital learning experiences that support the development of our International Wealth Management (IWM) advisory team. This position requires a highly skilled professional who can design and develop engaging, performance-focused content in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), internal stakeholders, and HR teams.
Typical Day in Role:
Design & Develop Digital Learning Content
• Create e-learning modules, videos, and other digital assets using tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), Vyond, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Develop learning experience artifacts (storyboards, scripts, prototypes) for review and approval.
• Ensure content aligns with established learning objectives, business goals, and learner needs.
Collaborate & Consult
• Work closely with SMEs, HR partners, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and validate content accuracy.
• Provide expert advice on instructional design strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
Learning Experience Design
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments and recommends solutions that address performance gaps and business objectives.
Project Management
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and evaluation.
Continuous Improvement
• Use learning data and feedback to refine and enhance digital learning experiences.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and digital learning.
Must Have Skills:
1. 10+ years of experience in instructional design and adult learning.
2. Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), Vyond, and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
3. 2+ years of experience with LMS platforms and digital content development tools
4. Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
5. 2+ years of experience with training project management
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Certification in Instructional Design or Adult Learning Principles
2. Previous experience in banking or financial services.
3. Spanish language proficiency
Education: Preferably Undergraduate degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or related
field.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate will leverage instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and digital tools to produce impactful e-learning modules, videos, and multimedia resources aligned with organizational learning goals.

1st round - HM + Managing Director - 45 mins - Teams Video (HM will review portfolio)
2nd round - HM + Managing Director - 30 mins - in-person (Case study will be given, candidates to propose a plan for training material based on given information)
Candidates will need to bring a portfolio or examples of previous training material to the interview.
