Senior Technical Recruiter to source, attract and hire top-tier professionals in Digital, Data, AI, and Technology- 1721


Location: Onsite 2-3 times a week. Located in Mississauga/Toronto (Liberty Village)

Duration: 6 Months

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week


Position Summary

The Technical Sourcer will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier professionals in Digital, Data, AI, and Technology. This role will partner with the senior talent partner, senior leaders and hiring managers to understand business priorities and build proactive pipelines of talent in high-demand technical domains.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on sourcer, skilled in leveraging market insights, recruitment technology, and creative approaches to engage niche talent pools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce planning needs in Digital, Data, AI, and Technology.
  • Proactively source, engage, and pipeline high-caliber candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals, market mapping, and digital sourcing strategies.
  • Manage recruitment for technical and digital roles, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across emerging technologies and niche skillsets.
  • Leverage employer brand, social media, and digital recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Provide market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitive insights to business leaders.
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience by communicating consistently, transparently, and with professionalism.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide reporting to measure sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
  • Stay current with hiring trends, tools, and best practices in technical and digital talent acquisition.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on sourcing technical/digital talent.
  • Proven success recruiting for roles in Data, AI, Digital Transformation, Software Engineering, Cloud, and related Technology functions.
  • Expertise in sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean search, and other digital recruiting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and ability to engage with candidates on emerging technologies.
  • Excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to leverage recruitment analytics and market intelligence.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and candidate care.
