Job Title: Project Manager - Technical


Summary:

The Technical Project Manager leads technology workstreams that support integration and oversees the migration and consolidation of core platforms. This role requires strong experience in infrastructure and DevOps, as well as data migration, ETLs, data lakes, analytics, and data quality validation. The Project Manager works across architecture, development, infrastructure, applications, QA, and data teams to manage dependencies, risks, testing, and cutover planning. Acts as a key liaison between business and technology teams to ensure integration meets regulatory, operational, and scalability needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical workstreams and platform migrations
  • Coordinate across architecture, infrastructure, QA, DevOps, and data teams
  • Support data quality, reconciliation, and validation efforts
  • Track dependencies and cutover plans aligned with project timelines
  • Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure and DevOps
  • Experience with data migration, data mapping, ETLs, analytics, and data lakes
  • Strong knowledge of core insurance platforms (Guidewire Policy, Billing, Claims Center)
  • Familiarity with system architecture, APIs, and release planning
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle)
  • Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource management
  • Skilled in technical risk, dependency, and change control management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent technical workstreams
  • Experienced with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid methods
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
  • Clear and concise technical and executive-level communication
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and issue resolution skills
  • Comfortable presenting updates and risks to executive audiences
