S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to lead the development of high-performance, scalable, and user-centric web applications. You'll be a key player in designing and building modern front-end architectures and frameworks, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring innovative digital experiences to life.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain production-grade React/Next.js applications
  • Translate complex UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of the front-end codebase
  • Implement SSR, ISR, and CSR strategies using Next.js depending on use cases
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver features end-to-end
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce front-end best practices
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Ensure accessibility (a11y), SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in front-end technologies and web standards


MUST HAVES:

  • 10+ years of front-end development experience, with 3+ years in React
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js, including SSR and static site generation
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling as well as proficiency with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of Trunk based Development, Pair Programming & TDD
