Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Specialty Developer IV (8-10 years) to deliver data analytics and automation solutions using Azure, PySpark, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Synapse - 58067

Join a large, collaborative data analytics team within a leading banking environment. This role focuses on end-to-end data-driven development, analysis, and automation within a cloud-based ecosystem. You’ll contribute to business-as-usual initiatives with opportunities for extension and potential conversion. The position offers visibility and exposure across enterprise-level data management and analytics functions.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 4 days onsite

Duration: 1 year

Must Haves

• 8-10 years in data analytics leveraging MS Azure for data management and cloud environment solutions
• Advanced proficiency with PySpark, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI
• Experience in Data/Text Mining, Algorithm Development, Automation, and Data Visualization
• Hands-on work with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Synapse
• Ability to interpret data schemas, metadata, and entity relationship diagrams; degree required

Nice to Have

• Banking industry experience
• Project management background

Responsibilities

• Lead technical components of analytics projects from inception to deployment
• Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions
• Document design options and solutions following SDLC methodology
• Analyze large data sets to derive insights and actionable intelligence
• Develop and optimize algorithms and automation frameworks supporting BAU initiatives
