Our banking client is seeking a Senior Solutions Developer IV (8+ years) to design, develop, and build components for Java web-enabled and database-driven applications

Join a collaborative technical team within a leading financial services environment delivering high-visibility regulatory and AML-related initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to design and develop key system solutions that interface across all areas of the bank. Working within a structured pod, you will contribute to development, testing, and deployment of quality code supporting critical online and mobile technology projects.

Duration: 1 year

Contract, London ON, Hybrid

2 days on site, 3 days work from home - could potentially go to 4 days

Must Haves

• 8+ years in software development using Java, .NET, and C#, including Java Swing and UI front end solutions
• Hands-on API development within enterprise systems
• Degree or diploma in computer science

Nice to Have

• AI experience
• Agile/Scrum environment exposure
• Experience in banking or financial institutions
• Experience using Github
• Work on thick client distributed applications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy quality solutions meeting project objectives and client requirements
• Write, test, and debug code while participating in code reviews
• Contribute to requirements, design, testing, and deployment documentation
• Maintain consistency in coding standards
• Ensure project documentation is properly stored and knowledge transfer occurs at contract completion
• Assist periodically with project scope activities as required
