Senior Solutions Architect (Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud Modernization)

Our client is Canada's leading specialty pharmacy and patient services provider. They are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to modernize their existing custom Salesforce implementation.

This is a key strategic role, in which you will drive the architecture to enhance and optimize their Salesforce platform, aligning with the latest capabilities of the Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. You will be the subject matter expert on the cloud platform, tackling complex challenges by providing architectural guidance and designing large-scale enhancements with the Pharmacy and Healthcare Technology team.

Duration: Until December 2026 (to start)

Location: Brampton (1 day/week onsite - Brampton)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation for the modernization of our custom Salesforce platform, ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performance solution.
• Analyze the existing custom implementation and design a roadmap for migration to a more standardized architecture.
• Support the engineering requirements of our GCP components and develop strategies for their modernization and migration.
• Enable organizational needs by leveraging the appropriate GCP and Salesforce platform frameworks and technology stacks.
• Participate and lead design discussions focused on best practices, scalability, and implementation for platform enhancement.
• Assist with the integration of our security policies and configuration within the GCP and Salesforce platform and its connected applications.
• Provide expertise in cloud cost optimization to help manage cloud operating expenses.
• Architect and explain complex system interactions, including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and other integration methods.
• Architect, develop, and/or maintain production-grade solutions within the GCP and Salesforce environment.

Must Have Skills:

• Proven experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Life Sciences Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce modernization projects, ideally migrating from custom implementations to standard Salesforce features.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration patterns and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with event-driven and messaging architectures (synchronous/asynchronous).
• Experience in authentication/authorization models; with experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Proven experience with GCP; open to Azure or AWS experience.
• Container Management using Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to Haves:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect) are a strong asset.
• Solution Architecture Methodology - TOGAF or Agile environment
