Our valued public sector client is hiring an Senior Software Developer to support the design, development, scaling and sustainment of a Cloud based, internet facing applications

Background:

Our client requires a senior software developer to architect the software factory pipeline and expand the application platform set to support the model. This Contract will allow the digital hub to accelerate the establishment of this concept, a foundational activity to accelerating the digitalization of processes through truly agile software development.

Tasks:

• Design, develop, prototype, and scale internet-facing, cloud-based applications using modern full-stack technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, VueJS, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Ensure interoperability and integration between existing client applications and support the onboarding of new applications as required.
• Develop new user personas and perform related development tasks based on direction from the Technical Authority .
• Collaborate with the Joint Defence Cloud Project to automate software development pipelines while meeting all security requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for building and optimizing the software factory pipeline.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily/weekly meetings, sprint planning), prepare technical documentation, and perform other development tasks as requested by the TA.

Must Haves:

• 5 years developing software as part of an Agile Software development team. This must include experience with developing custom software, short iterations, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and modern Development Operations (DevOps) practices.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, VueJS, PostgreSQL, etc - 5+ years
• Experience with RCAF cATO Platform; · RCAF Data Link Scheduler; or, · RAP.
• Computer Science (diploma, degree, or master's)
• Reliability Clearance
