Our agricultural client is hiring a Senior Simulation and Modeling Specialist to support the optimization of chemical and mechanical industrial processes (JP00000180)

** Candidates will follow a hybrid working model and can be located in either Saskatoon or Calgary.**

Must Have:

• Working experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and simulation projects
• Masters' degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related
• Familiarity of data science methodologies such as statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualization

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python or similar programming languages for simulation and data analysis
• Prior experience in chemical or mechanical process simulation/modelling

Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate and implement, finite element simulation models for complex chemical and mechanical systems relevant to industrial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define simulation requirements and translate operational challenges into computational experiments.
• Integrate simulation outputs with data analytics and machine learning techniques to support process optimization and predictive maintenance.
• Document and communicate findings, results, and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, non-technical language where appropriate.
• Support the Digital Transformation initiatives by exploring the use of simulation and data in innovative ways.
