Senior SharePoint/Microsoft 365 Analyst to support our utilities client with a broad range of application-focused IT initiatives.

Our utilities client is seeking an Senior SharePoint/Microsoft 365 Analyst to support a broad range of application-focused IT initiatives planned for 2026. This role will sit within the Web team and focus on SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions across multiple business units. The work is primarily enhancement-driven, with some involvement in migration activities and future-state groundwork.

Overview

This role supports ongoing application enhancements, configuration, and operational support within a Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, while also supporting governance, security, and operational best practices.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of professional experience in Web Application Operations or Web Systems Analysis
• Hands-on experience administering and developing solutions in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019
• Strong Power Platform experience, including Power Apps and Power Automate integrated with Microsoft 365
• Advanced PowerShell scripting experience for automation, content migration, and system management
• Experience supporting on-prem SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design practical, scalable technical solutions

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online migrations
• Hands-on experience with Sharegate PowerShell scripting
• Experience using LinkFixer or similar migration tools
• Broad IT background with an understanding of web UI best practices

Responsibilities

• Systems Analyst support for the Web team across multiple application initiatives
• Administer SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019 site collections, including site creation, permissions, customization, and lifecycle management
• Design and develop SharePoint solutions including sites, lists, and document libraries
• Design, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions to automate business processes
• Configure and maintain Power Automate workflows and integrations with Microsoft 365 services
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
• Implement governance, security, and best practices for SharePoint Online and Power Platform
• Document processes, procedures, and solution designs for ongoing support and knowledge transfer
• Support or contribute to SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online migration initiatives as required
• Deliver a positive customer service experience when supporting business users
